  • All services provided by Hackmania, AI-based matchmaking, and recruiter engagement.

We may collect: identity & authentication data, contact & demographic information, professional profile & preferences, program content & submissions, organisational metadata, and technical & usage data.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

  • Consent — when you voluntarily provide information.
  • Contractual Obligation — to deliver services you signed up for.
  • Legitimate Interests — to prevent fraud and improve performance.
  • Legal Compliance — to comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with authorized internal staff, program organizers, jury & mentors, recruiters (when opted in), and trusted third-party processors under strict DPAs.

5. Storage & Retention

Data is stored in secure, access-controlled cloud environments compliant with ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Default retention is 24 months post-last activity.

6. Security

  • AES-256 encryption at rest
  • TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Multi-factor authentication for internal admin systems
  • Routine vulnerability scanning and annual third-party audits
